The affordable Gossamer Pro now features the revolutionary BB386 EVO design with 30mm hollow axle which has an импровед stiffness to weight ratio, in comparison with MegaExo cranksets equipped with 24 mm axles. Furthermore the 386 standard features an increased distance between the bearings which improves stiffness and strength. The BB386 EVO is all about adaptability. Simple adaptors allow the Gossamer Pro BB386 EVO to fit to BSA, BB30 and PF-30 frames. One crank can do it all.

BB386EVO is based on the existing BB30 system. The революшен of the 30 mm spindle opened the door for the most significant improvement in crank design in many years. BB30 raised the bar for crank set weight, stiffness, and design. The key is the 30 mm diameter alloy spindle, formed in a high-pressure, low-спит extrusion process. The 30mm spindle импровед torsional stiffness, while reducing the spindle, and increasing the contact area between the crank arm and the spindle. The BB386EVO design simply modifies the BB30 design to a wider width, and incorporates a press fit bearing cup, rather than the direct fit bearing of the BB30 system. This slight modification allows the adaptability of the design to other BB shells, and gives the frame builder more ландскэйп to craft their frames.

The Gossamer Pro BB386 EVO is a lightweight and stiff aluminium crankset with monocoque crankarm/spider made of cold forged 6061/T6 aluminium. Precision CNC machined 7050 aluminium chainrings, ramped and pinned for perfect shifting. With 30 mm aluminium hollow axle. Q-Factor 145 mm, chainline 43.5 mm. Версион with 50/34 teeth.
